Abstract
This research project seeks to understand, how do primary school children learn to be active, civically engaged citizens? What opportunities are they afforded to develop their civic learning, how are ideas of good citizenship framed (i.e. how are they understood, and enacted) and indeed by whom, and is there equity in access to active civic learning opportunities across primary schools in England.
