Abstract
One of three films by Evgenii Bauer, featuring on the British Film Institute DVD 'Mad Love'. 'After Death' is adapted from a story by Turgenev and is imbued with one of Bauer's favourite themes: the psychological hold of the dead over the living. Featuring a specially commissioned new music score for Piano Trio 'Triptych'. Ft. Ruth Herbert - piano; Oliver Lewis - vln; Jonathan Few - cello.
