Abstract

BUSTING TRIFLES - a pop up piece of performance devised with Moving Memory's core ensemble. 7 performers aged between 50 & 89 took to the streets of Canterbury, Margate, Chatham and Gravesend for 8 performances.

We’ve been side-lined, we’ve been pitied, we’ve been afraid. But now we’re busting back out and we’re sprinkling magic and meaning on The Great Trifle of Life. The old hags have not just survived, they’ve got something to teach us all about what’s important through the hard times. These are moments of triumphant joy that will leave audiences with the sweet taste of all that is good, and worth waiting for.
