Abstract

ARTIST'S STATEMENT: I wanted to capture the glee of a small child when they first see dandelion seeds dance in the breeze - the same amazement as when they first witness fireworks. I wanted to counter this with the scorn they receive from gardeners who see them as a nuisance. I used stop motion animation to capture the childlike element of dandelions.
