Abstract
Searching - short film for Channel 4
Claire has amnesia, Searching explores the very different shape of Claire’s world, the maps and lists that Claire continually creates in order to navigate time and space. A world where mirrors are deeply unsettling and the trees in her garden form both anchors, because they don’t move, and have come to represent her husband and each of her children, as she can recognise each tree, reading their characteristics into the forms and shapes.
