Abstract
This book aims to give readers an overview of different aspects of British culture and situations in which they as a Chinese student might find themselves in cross-cultural conflict with British people, or where misunderstandings might occur. Language will be presented through a series of background introductions followed by a dialogue in which Chinese students interact with a British host family. This will be followed by a language study section which will highlight certain aspects of grammar and vocabulary.
