Abstract
Through the Grapevine: A Performed Wine Tasting is a unique and new way of experiencing wine through immersive performance. It is an entertaining and delicious cabaret of the senses, offering a palate of physical humour, performance, song, dance, and some stunning visuals. The performance vignettes are developed from the performers' tasting notes using 'sense-memory' as the stimulus for developing material; audience members are offered a synaesthetic experience as taste and performance merge.
