Abstract

There is increasing recognition that Internationalisation at Home initiatives, including Collaborative Online International Learning (COILs), can ‘serve as an effective option to address challenges related to cultural awareness, inter-cultural collaboration and transversal or soft skills’ (Buiskool and Hudepohl, 2020, p. 6).

This presentation seeks to hear the voices of student participants who have recently completed a COIL involving law students at Kent Law School and Université de Bordeaux, France. Specifically, we will hear their perceptions of its impact. The potential for co-creation to enhance the value of the COIL for future cohorts will then be considered.
