Abstract
This Paper was highly significant in presenting a systematic analysis of the factors influencing the nature of the 'constrained choices' made by management and employee representatives in establishing some 400+ European Works Council Agreements. The Paper was also published as a book chapter receiving excellent reviews by those in the discipline.
