Abstract
As access and participation in UK higher education has increased, so has the diversity of students and their educational needs. To maintain effectiveness in learning and teaching in meeting the needs of all students, continuing professional development, such as adopting a reflective teaching practice, has become essential (Pollard, 2014). One metric of a new framework being developed has been trailed in one division at the University of Kent. Feedback suggests that this aspect of the framework was well received by academics, with most participants suggesting they will implement lessons learned.
