Abstract
Vera Cartonera is a non-profit "cartonera" press published under the aegis of Universidad Nacional del Litoral and CONICET, Argentina. Commissioned by Analía Gervaudo (editor-in-chief), the book imagines the meeting between three women - Victoria Ocampo, Virginia Woolf, and Gabriela Mistral - fierce opponents of war and militarism, passionate advocates of peace and solidarity. It contains an introduction, two essays (by Woolf and Mistral), and illustrations by Argentine artist Luz Novillo Corvalan.
