Abstract
This Keynote Speech 'What about me?' for the In2MedSchool.com conference 2022 "Inequalities in Medicine", talks about widening participation (WP) in medicine, but with a particular focus on disability. Current trends in equality, diversity and inclusion are explored, along with contemporary initiatives for promoting exclusion. The speech branches out to consider what WP means to different people, the rights that disabled people have to feel a sense of belonging rather then trying to 'fit in' and about essential policy changes and the work of the Disabled Doctors Network.
