Abstract
In the present thesis, we report the design and results of three experiments. These experiments focused on the impact of information of social value orientation
(SVO) in public goods game on cooperative behavior in public goods game. To provide a theoretical underpinning to the work we apply belief-based guilt
aversion and reciprocity models from psychological game theory. These allow us to derive testable hypotheses on the role of information on contributions.
