Abstract
Al enfocarme en el sexo y el género, espero resaltar cuán flexibles, pero frágiles, pueden ser las interacciones sociales en el contexto de la salud y la sanación a través de las ceremonias de ayahuasca en todo el mundo. El lugar central de este artículo es Puerto Maldonado, Perú, una capital regional amazónica y sus alrededores, donde he realizado trabajo de campo durante las últimas dos décadas, particularmente entre Ese Eja.
