Abstract
A Non-radiative dielectric waveguide formed by a photonic crystal substrate is presented. Guidance is achieved by cutting an array of holes of size comparable to the guided wavelength into a substrate. In this paper a 16.5 GHz prototype is fabricated and guidance is demonstrated.
