Abstract
This publication revealed a step-change in the understanding of bioactive glasses by using advanced neutron and X-ray physical methods within the context of carefully controlled materials chemistry. This work was cited as a scientific highlight in the 2005 ISIS annual report (including a front cover image), and the paper was further highlighted by the RSC journal on its web site as well as in the July 2005 edition of Chemistry World.
