Abstract
This edited volume presents innovative ethnographic studies and new forms of analysis examining the distribution and endurance of violence. The ethnographic examples from Turkey, Lebanon, South Africa, USA, Mexico bring together the literature on violence with work on materialism and post-humanism and produces new discussions in consideration of the question “what can be learned about violence by analyzing it in the terrain of relationality between ‘human beings’ and ‘non-human things’?”
