Abstract
Offers the first book-length study in English or any other language on this neglected Augustan poet and his work. Provides the Latin text of Cynegetica and a new English translation, making the extant poem accessible to a wide audience. Collects a wide range of interpretive essays from an international team of scholars arranged thematically to orient the reader effectively.
