Abstract

This research reports on a study into the cybersecurity awareness initiatives for school learners in South Africa and the UK, which are supported by government, industry and academia. Furthermore, this article provides an overview of similarities and differences between initiatives across countries, and posits as to the reasons why they may exist. The research concludes by presenting recommendations for both countries to improve school cybersecurity initiatives.
