Abstract
We present an investigation of the electronic spectrum of MnSi through band structure calculations and de Haas-van Alphen (dHvA) measurements. The calculated Stoner Tc is high but shown to be suppressed dramatically by the strong spin fluctuations characteristic of MnSi. The unusually high mass enhancement observed is consistent with the strength of these fluctuations.
