Abstract
Learning a foreign language (FL) nowadays involves various contexts and resources, particularly because of the use of technological resources. The use of such resources and the diversity of tasks, situations and means to have contact with an FL can be placed in the context of blended learning. The purpose of this article is, therefore, to reflect on various possibilities of interaction and use of Portuguese as an additional foreign language by multilingual learners in a university context. To do so, it explored two projects implemented in the context of blended learning, which address different dimensions and skills in the FL. The hypothesis guiding the discussion is that the different perspectives of learning and using the language in virtual environments can help students become independent learners through the use of numerous technological resources now available. The results show the possibilities of language functioning in reading and writing in the context of blended learning in the teaching of Portuguese as an additional language
