Abstract
The aim of the project is to analyse available data from routine sources and local health surveys to compare health and health-related behaviour in the populations of South East England and North France focusing particularly on health inequalities and social cohesion. The project will be comparing the availability and accessibility of health related programmes in each country and in the second year of the project it is expected to develop strategies to enhance the health of citizens of the euro-region. In addition the project will, through focus groups, seek information from the patients’ perspective with respect
to the social and cultural aspects of both regions.
