Abstract
This chapter lists and discusses a set of recommendations for police-makers and stakeholders in relevant fields, drawing upon the European research project 'PIDOP' (Processes Influencing Democratic Ownership and Participation) on citizenship, participation and civic engagement among youth and minorities in 9 different European countries - Belgium, Czech Republic, England, Germany, Italy, Northern Ireland, Portugal, Sweden and Turkey.
