Abstract
Reports on a small test excavation undertaken in 1995 in the front garden of a property. A substantial assemblage of first-century pottery was recovered in association with contemporary ditches. The pottery, along with some animal bone, appeared to have been deposited into a ditch in a simultaneous act – the (possibly ritual) reasons for this deposition are discussed.
