Abstract

Composed as part of an Arts Council Electroacoustic Bursary for Jos Zwaanenburg. It was premiered at the Gaudeamus Music Week where it attracted excellent reviews. Subsequent performances at the Oxford Contemporary Music Festival, Utrecht Microtonal Festival, at Stemmingen en Toonsystemen in Rotterdam, Bretton Hall and at Festival Callejoa del Ruido in Mexico. It has also led to a research project involving high-level use of live electronics. (This piece is still being programmed at festivals). . Planned for release as a CD on the ‘Barton Workshop’ Label Holland
