Abstract
Equipment used in radiation pattern measurements at 9 mm wavelength on a test range of about a kilometre is described. Phase sensitive detection is used instead of a superheterodyne system. The radiation patterns of 2.8 m diameter paraboloids can be observed to more than 50 dB below the main beam power level.
