Abstract
Robust decentralised fault detection and isolation (FDI) is considered in this paper. Firstly, a sliding mode observer is proposed. Then, a decentralised fault estimation strategy is proposed using the equivalent output error injection, and a decentralised reconstruction scheme follows by exploiting the structure of the uncertainty. The estimation signal and reconstruction signal only depend on the available measured information. An automated highway system is employed to show the effectiveness of the proposed scheme.
