Abstract
<p>The purpose of this Appendix to Discussion Paper 738 is to describe the procedure we employed in order to construct the Discounted Present Values of homecare and residential care.
<p><p><p>Section 1 gives a detailed description of the procedures and assumptions employed in order to construct the DPV of homecare. A comprehensive commentary of the construction of the DPV of residential care is given in Section 2, and Section gives the criteria for selecting the dependent variables used in the prediction equations.
