Abstract
The article reports on discussions which have been prompted by the design magazine "Abitare Bulgaria" and are concerned with the Bulgarian ministry of culture's plans to reorganize and rehouse Bulgaria's national art collections. Proposals which have been submitted for art museums in Sofia, Bulgaria are examined. A February 2010 conference on the need for museums which was staged by "Abitare Bulgaria," is discussed.
