Abstract

A Radio over Fibre (RoF) system design and performance study of a full-duplex transmission Ultra Wide Band (UWB) radio directly modulated over a Multimode Fibre (MMF)network for in-vehicle applications is reported. A comprehensive evaluation of the UWB radio transmission characteristics through the relatively inexpensive system and performance comparison of the Bit Error Rate (BER) is presented.
