Abstract
An experimental method is described for use with a charge-coupled device (CCD) for the measurement of decay curves in beam-foil spectroscopy (bfs). The method realises the maximum possible illumination of the CCD, has a spectral resolvance equal to the irreducible width of bfs lines and yields decay curves free from systematic error.
