Abstract
We report a new, and relatively simple, procedure for finding new integrable differential-difference equations. The procedure starts from a rather general differential-difference equation taken in bilinear form and then searches for appropriate Backlund transformations for it. In this way three particular new integrable differential-difference systems are found and their corresponding Backlund transformations presented.
