Newport, Robert J. and Howe, R.A. and Enderby, J.E. (1982) The Structure and Electrical-Properties of Liquid Semiconductors .2. Electron-Transport In Liquid Ni Te Alloys. Journal of Physics C: Solid State Physics, 15 (22). pp. 4635-4640. ISSN 0022-3719. (Full text available)
The resistivity and thermoelectric power of liquid Ni-Te alloys have been measured as a function of temperature over a wide range of compositions. It is shown that the resistivity of liquid Te can be halved by the addition of less than 10 at % Ni. Comparison with other liquid alloys containing Te is made and a unified model for the atomic and electronic structure is proposed.
