Goodbun, Katie (2022) Effective Against Prejudice: The Impact of the Anne Frank Trust’s Education Programme 2021-2022. Anne Frank Trust UK, UK, 32 pp. (KAR id:114848)

Abstract

This report evaluates the effectiveness of the Anne Frank Trust UK education programme delivered during the 2021–2022 academic year. It assesses its impact on students’ attitudes towards prejudice, discrimination, and social difference. Findings indicate significant improvements in participants’ empathy, critical awareness of prejudice, and willingness to engage positively with diverse social groups. This is the first report from the Trust to highlight the impact of the Ambassador programme on young people, with ambassadors reporting that the programme empowers them to challenge all forms of prejudice. The report highlights the continued relevance of school-based anti-prejudice education in promoting inclusive values and reducing social bias among young people.
