Abstract
This was led by Smith with Rosen contributing work on computer simulations and visualisation techniques. Found by accident, the instability was investigated through numerical experiments on a PPARC JREI-acquired SGI Origin supercomputer with a total value of 250,000 pounds. A series of ensuing analytical papers revealed the physical cause in terms of the cooling and the formation of molecules. The scientific predictions will be tested by the upcoming generation of telescopes which are funded by the UK in collaboration with international teams. (Impact Factor: 5.352)
