Abstract

This piece is a conversation between fabulist and poet Suniti Namjoshi and Kaori Nagai (University of Kent) within the context of the AHRC‑funded 'Rethinking Fables in the Age of Global Environmental Crisis' project (2023-2025), for which Nagai served as PI. Featuring Namjoshi's fables, the conversation explores her experience and approach to writing fables, as well as the roles these fables play in addressing environmental and multispecies concerns.
