Abstract
This paper demonstrates a photonic time stretch reservoir computer using a multi-mode fiber-based optical mask. Employing an SMS (single mode-multi mode-single mode) fibre structure, the optical mask is integrated within the optical link. Our system shows improved performance in spoken-digit recognition tasks.
