Abstract
This is an encyclopedia entry on feminist theories drawn on in feminist organization studies. It maps out the perspectives drawn on by gender and feminist researchers working in the field of diversity and in management and organization studies. It aims to map out the rich variety of thinking tools that feminist theories have to offer for diversity studies specifically and management and organization studies in general. The aim is to demonstrate how cutting-edge feminist perspectives can make visible the complexity of gender far beyond individual people and provide the best opportunity for the implementation of significant change. This change is not just about one woman at a time but about the reconstitution of gendered structures, processes and procedures thereby having an impact which is collectively oriented as opposed to individually focused.
