Abstract
In this paper, two types of network with intelligent nodes are studied. The first type has nodes that accumulate and delete information, while the second type has nodes that negotiate about a resource. It is established that the first network has multiple equilibria, and a condition for the existence of such equilibria is given. For the second network, it is shown how the negotiating strategy of the nodes influences the bandwidth required in the network.
