In poultry breeding as well as selection and genetic work, an important aspect is the evaluation of egg quality. In addition to the intensive search for molecular genetic mechanisms and markers of egg quality, there is a need in developing nondestructive technologies and mathematical methods for assessing the egg quality, which make it possible to accurately determine the external and internal parameters of the egg without breaking the eggshell and can serve as a basis for further research in the field of quality improvement of egg products.

В племенной и селекционно-генетической работе с сельскохозяйственной птицей важным аспектом является оценка качества яиц. Помимо усиленного поиска молекулярно-генетических механизмов и маркеров качества яиц, существует необходимость в разработке неразрушающих технологий и математических методов для оценки качества яиц, которые позволяют достаточно точно определять внешние и внутренние параметры яйца без разбивания скорлупы и могут послужить основой для последующих исследований в области повышения качества яичной продукции.
