Abstract

This letter details an implementation of optical coherence domain reflectometry (OCDR) which is capable of resolving distances of less than 10?. Simulated and experimental data have been used to evaluate the effects of different parameters on a future system, allowing the prediction of OCDR capabilities under different arrangements, and the determination of its suitability in different application areas.
