Abstract

Part I of the Report summarises, considers and makes recommendations on the basis of, the evidence assembled in the project on Developments in Community Nursing within Primary Health Care Teams.

We summarise, in Chart form as far as possible, evidence which is presented in greater detail in Parts II, III and IV as follows:-

Part II A review of the literature 1974-1982

Part III Report of the survey addressed to Chief Nursing Officers

Part IV Report on consultations held with representatives of

professional bodies and other selected members of the

nursing and medical professions and discussions of the

research priorities arising from the project.
