Abstract
At the heart of any context aware devices there is a requirement for a matching/triggering engine that can match information against some desired criteria. Most devices currently available that can be made mobile and context-aware are relatively primitive; hence good performance and simplicity as well as platform independence are key requirements. This paper describes the design and implementation of one possible solution, describes concepts and tricks to achieve some complex results from simple operations.
