Abstract

The synthesis of a new polymerisable fluorescent monomer, 4-(3-aminopropylene)-7-nitrobenzofurazan, is described. This compound was further used to prepare a fluorescent atrazine imprinted polymer as a component of a homogeneous pseudofluoroassay.
