Abstract

With the increased use of modelling techniques has come the desire to use model transformations. Model transformations systems are graph transformations systems that perform translations between languages defined by a corresponding metamodel. The current paper proposes a transformation language called YATL (Yet Another Transformation Language). This transformation language has been defined to perform transformations within the OMGs MDA framework. After having presented YATL, we present several experiments to show how YATL can be used to map from a source model to a target model. YATL is still evolving since it is supposed to match the forthcoming QVT standard.
