Abstract
This essay carries out a close reading of the 'intimate' relation beteen the thinking of French feminist philosopher Luce Irigaray and the French Jewish philosopher Emmanuel Levinas. It explores in particular the possibility of a neo-materialist thinking of the relationship between language, the body, sensation and textuality.
