Abstract
The present invention is directed to new compounds based on polyelectrophilic metalated heterocycles derived from 2-(pyridin-2-yl)imidazo[1,2-a]pyridine, to their obtaining procedure, as well as to their use as chemotherapeutic agents, in particular against tumours sensitive or resistant to other chemotherapeutic agents, such as cisplatin.
