Abstract
This research finds that everyone is not at equal risk of homelessness. Despite executive summary many advances in the lived experience of LGBTQ+ people in the UK in recent decades, LGBTQ+ young people (trans and non-binary young people in particular) still face increased risks of losing their home. LGBTQ+ youth homelessness is a growing and concerning issue and intersectional disadvantage places many LGBTQ+ young people at even greater risk.
