Abstract

The legacy pilot-based channel estimation (CE) has some deficiencies, including being affected by large noise, difficult to achieve matrix inversion and so on. In the 6G era, the accuracy, timeliness and low complexity of CE, which directly affect the performance of the communication system, will become more challenging than the 5G. In this paper, we introduce a new CE method in time domain based on curvature circle interpolation algorithm (CCIA), which consists of two sub algorithms, referred to as trapezoidal interpolation algorithm (TIA) and curvature inertia interpolation algorithm (CIIA). The CCIA is used in conjunction with the new type pilots we designed. The complete CE need two main processes, key points interpolation (KPI) and data symbol interpolation (DSI), both of which require the use of CCIA. To demonstrate the superior performance gains of our proposed method, the use case is presented with link-level simulation and made performance comparison with traditional CE schemes.
