Abstract
This paper is an excellent example of the symbiotic use of computer modelling and advanced probe experimental structural studies employed by Prof. Newport’s team in collaboration with Prof. Smith’s group at Warwick, in the pursuit of a detailed understanding of important, complex, oxide glasses at the level of atomic scale structure.
